Transportation
The Crystal River Valley is best accessed by car. From Carbondale, take Highway 133 south towards Redstone. The drive is incredibly scenic, following the river through the valley. There is no public transportation directly to Redstone or along the Crystal River, so a personal vehicle is highly recommended.
